Las Vegas has become the world capital for bowling in recent years. This is a result of Las Vegas having so many great alleys attached to casinos that have stood the test of time. Also, many pro bowlers either grew up here or have chosen to make their homes in Vegas because of many of the great bowling options and because of many big tournaments that take place in Vegas (and maybe because of there being no state income taxes). These local pros include Anthony Simonsen, Darren Tang and Jake Peters (Tang has one of the most popular bowling YouTube channels).

But forget all of that, and leave your custom balls, clown shoes and wrist guards at home. In this article, we focus on the best options for not-so-boring bowling in Vegas.

Unique Bowling Venues in Vegas

If you are staying on the Strip, Brooklyn Bowl, located on the second floor of the Linq Promenade, is your best bowling option. If you have not been before, the venue is a small hybrid cosmic bowling alley, bar, and dance club. Take in the fantastic vibe while enjoying:

  • Great live music with a capacity of 3,000
  • Shows and dance parties
  • A custom dance floor
  • Food by Blue Ribbon

Geared towards the non-serious bowler, you can bowl a few games at Brooklyn Bowl with some of the most incredible music and top-tier band tributes. It also has its fair share of amazing gourmet foods, including fried calamari, cheeseburger sliders, and fried chicken, served by Blue Ribbon. What more could you want?

The remaining bowling centers on this list are all located off-Strip. They generally all offer ‘traditional’ bowling during the weekdays and cosmic bowling on weeknights and most weekend operating hours. Check with each alley for their hours.

The Sam’s Town Bowling Center, located on Boulder Highway, features Xtreme cosmic bowling, the ultimate bowling experience with:

  • Ultraviolet lights

  • Music
  • And so much more
