Tournament of Kings at Excalibur Hotel Casino Las Vegas

Welcome to the ultimate dinner and show experience in Las Vegas – Tournament of Kings! Adapted from the legendary tale of King Arthur, this live-action extravaganza unfolds in a 900-seat theater-in-the-round arena, immersing the audience in a thrilling saga of valor and treachery.

What to Expect

Picture this: valiant knights charging into battle on mighty steeds amidst jaw-dropping special effects and dazzling pyrotechnics.

But here’s the twist: While the knights are busy proving their chivalry, you and your family feast like royalty, using the original utensil: your hands! Indulge in a hearty dinner fit for a king with succulent roast game hen and decadent desserts to tantalize your taste buds. This is often the kiddos’ favorite part!

Tournament of Kings isn’t just a show–it’s an epic journey through centuries past, filled with honor, bravery, and delicious food.

Whether you’re a history buff, a lover of adventure, or just looking for a fun-filled evening with the family, the Tournament of Kings promises an epic time that will have everyone talking about it long after the curtains close!

PREMIER TIP: Have dietary preferences or restrictions? No worries! Give the venue at least 4 hours before showtime, and they will do their best to accommodate you. Unfortunately, kosher meals aren’t currently available.

Why We Love It

Once you’re settled into your seat, get ready for some interactive fun! Each section of the audience is assigned a knight to root for, which is often the kids’ favorite part of the show.

But here’s another twist: you’re not just cheering for your knight; you’re encouraged to boo and jeer for the other knights too!

Little ones three years old and younger can tag along for free! They must cozy up on an adult’s lap and share their meal. The four and older kiddos will need their own ticket, so they’ll get their own seat and grub.

Additionally, Excalibur Hotel Casino is one of our favorite family-friendly hotels! It has newly remodeled and pet-friendly rooms, a giant arcade called the Fun Dungeon, and tons of dining options, including one of the most significant food courts in Las Vegas. The convenience of this property is fit for a king, queen, and their family!

Prices and Times

You can catch all the medieval action Thursday through Monday, 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM. Check the site for specific dates that only show the 6 PM, though. Tickets start at $41.87, which excludes taxes and any other fees.

Popovich Comedy Pet Theater at Planet Hollywood Hotel

Get ready for an unforgettable experience as dogs, cats, and birds share the stage with circus acts, including juggling, gymnastics, and acrobatics, all brought to life by Gregory Popovich and his comedy pet theater.

Located at the V Theater inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Hotel in Las Vegas, the show runs daily at 2:30 p.m. The 70-minute spectacle prohibits using cameras and smoking inside the theater, and lap sitting is allowed for children ages two and under.

Why We Love It

At Popovich Comedy Pet Theater, each animal has a heartwarming backstory, having been rescued from an animal shelter and given a new lease on life. They love to perform and showcase their incredible talents, making a fun-filled show perfect for the whole family.

PREMIER TIP: After the show, swing by Gordon Ramsay Burger at Planet Hollywood Hotel for one of the best desserts in Las Vegas, our favorite Sticky Toffee Pudding Ice Cream Sandwiches!

WOW – The Vegas Spectacular at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino

WOW – The Vegas Spectacular, located at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, is an internationally acclaimed production that has captivated the hearts of 2.5 million people worldwide. Helmed by the visionary Director Hanoch Rosenn, renowned for his extravagant and large-scale productions, this show transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary.

If your littles are into mermaids, pirates, boats, or anything in that realm, this is the show for them!

Why We Love It

The show is family-friendly, welcoming audiences of all ages, requiring attendees to be four years of age or older. This is for the safety of the performers (because a crying baby isn’t probably conducive to your focus when you’re balancing on top of a giant wheel with no safety harnesses).

This show includes a lot of humor, with the performers often interacting with the audience before, after, and at key moments during the show.

PREMIER TIP: The Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino is also home to KISS Monster Mini Golf, one of our favorite activities for the littles to let their wiggles out.

Prices and Times

With performances on Tuesday and Wednesday at 7 pm, Thursday to Saturday at 7 pm and 9 pm, and Sunday at 5 pm and 7 pm, attendees have multiple opportunities to experience the magic. The show is family-friendly, welcoming audiences of all ages, requiring attendees to be four years of age or older. This is for the safety of the performers as they do death-defying stunts.

Ticket prices vary from $39 to $71, not including taxes and fees, depending on proximity to the stage. But rest assured, there’s not a bad seat in the house!

Comedian Mac King at Excalibur Hotel Casino Las Vegas

Mac King, renowned as the world’s top comedy magician, offers a 70-minute spectacle that promises to leave your family in stitches and awe. With his lovable pet guinea pig “Colonel Sanders” appearing alongside other magical surprises, King ensures each performance is unique and engaging, making it perfect for a family outing.

Why We Love It

Like the clever jokes tucked into kids’ movies that entertain parents while kids giggle, Mac King’s Comedy Magic Show similarly works its magic. While your little ones will be chuckling at the performance, you’ll laugh at the subtle humor they might miss.

So, relax and enjoy the show, knowing there’s fun for everyone, with laughter that transcends generations.

Parents will appreciate the wholesome entertainment that Mac King offers, ensuring that kids aged five and above can enjoy the show without worry.

Blue Man Group at Luxor Las Vegas

Need an immersive experience that is joyous and original? Look into the world of Blue Man Group, a musical group known worldwide since 1987. They present a lively stage that seamlessly blends various musical genres and artistic expressions to create an experience like none other. Watch as the “Blue Men” take center stage in their iconic blue-painted skin, on a mission to give an electrifying show that brings the audience joy and energy.

What to Expect

The Blue Man Group puts on a delightful musical performance in which the highlight of their music involves custom-made percussion instruments made of PVC pipes.

The show will have occasional acts, dancing, and crowd work about their joyful, funny, and original music. It can be intense on the senses, so it might be overwhelming if you’re sensitive to loud, pulsating music and bright, flashing lights.

Enjoyable is an understatement. There’s a reason their shows are worldwide and ongoing for years. It’s one of those acts that requires firsthand experience to appreciate fully. You may not be singing their songs on your way home, but you’ll undoubtedly leave with a big smile.

Why We Love It

We love the Blue Man Group because their show is an immersive experience that no other show gives. The combination of comedy, visual effects, and music all lead to an innovative and engaging recipe.

The crowd work creates a sense of connection and intrigue that will put you out of your comfort zone. The concept of their company and the use of technology and creativity make it so that they keep the show fresh.

PREMIER TIP: Luxor is also one of our favorite family-friendly properties on The Strip. From digging into Titanic artifacts at “Titanic, The Artifact Exhibition” to exploring human anatomy at “Bodies” and discovering King Tut’s tomb, there is something exciting for every age!

Prices and Times

There’s no reason to miss out on these guys, as they have a show every day in Las Vegas, starting at $49.00 and with showtimes at 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

Jabbawockeez at MGM Grand

Like the Blue Man Group, another crew with a mysterious allure is the Jabbawockeez. They are a world-famous hip-hop dance crew that got its start by winning America’s Best Dance Crew on MTV in the 2000s. Their trademark appearance includes a plain white mask and gloves that add to their eye-catching moves.

This group is everywhere, from sporting events to music videos. They are also seen at their home stage, like the many other shows at MGM Grand Hotel. With pure athleticism and mind-bending creativity, their performances are worthwhile to watch.

What to Expect

Hip-hop is at the core of their personality. The music, outfits, and moves revolve all around hip-hop culture. In their choreography, expect flips, dancers spinning on their heads, synchronization at a world-class level, and, our personal favorite, how they can transition from slow to fast moves and vice versa.

Why We Love It

What separates the Jabbawockeez from other dance groups is their iconic masks. Facial expressions are a way of showing emotion in a performance; they cannot do that with their masks.

Yet, when it comes to their creativity and athletic ability to do virtually anything, they can portray emotions from their moves alone. This showcases the exceptional talent and adds an intriguing layer to their shows.

Prices and Times

With their masks, they can have many members perform shows daily except Tuesdays, with time slots mainly at 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. and occasionally at 4:00 p.m. However, this scheduling isn’t 100% consistent, so check the available dates and times on their website.

Tickets are starting at $49.00 to experience the world of the Jabbawockeez.

Mystère by Cirque du Soleil at Treasure Island

Step into the wonders of Mystère by Cirque du Soleil, where imagination is limited. Mystère combines technology and science to create unreal visuals like never before.

As Cirque du Soleil’s longest-running show, it holds this title for good reason. With its charm, humor, and sweetness, coupled with a mesmerizing score, Mystère is a show worth watching for all ages.

What to Expect

The show consists of numerous circus skills, sets that can only be made up from dreams, compelling music, and acts that will leave you laughing on the way home. A story is told throughout the show, and it is left up to the individual to interpret what they make out of it.

Performers of Mystère have immense talent for doing stunts that are the literal definition of “do not try at home.” Sit in the front, and you may experience crowd work or sit back to take it all in, as you wouldn’t want to miss every single individual making this masterpiece.

Why We Love It

Of all the Cirque du Soleil shows, Mystère is the epitome of this entertainment group. It encompasses a bit of everything—from music and costumes to acrobatics and comedy—that will keep you hooked from the start.

Throughout the show, you’ll encounter moments that leave you speechless, with our favorite being the performers effortlessly working together to execute stunts only a rare few in the world can pull off.

PREMIER TIP:  Before or after the show, stop by Senor Frog’s for outdoor dining. The place overlooks the pirate ships floating in Sirens Cove. They have the perfect kids’ menu, fit for any hungry tadpole.

Prices and Times

Mystere performs on Fridays to Tuesdays, with days off being Wednesdays and Thursdays. You can find two different time slots at 7:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. at Treasure Island, with tickets starting at $69.00, one of the lowest-priced shows offered by Cirque du Soleil.

Mat Franco: Magic Reinvented Nightly at the LINQ

At the LINQ Hotel + Experience, Mat Franco shines bright with his show, “Magic Reinvented Nightly.”

One of the few magicians in the world to go onto America’s Got Talent and win the competition. Mat Franco has various tricks and illusions that leave you in awe. He has a ton of charisma and energy, creating a show that gives you the feeling that he’s not doing the same show every night.

He’s not just an excellent entertainer. Mat Franco is incredibly engaging and mesmerizing, and he offers humor that people of all ages can watch.

What to Expect

Mind-blowing illusions are Mat Franco’s bread and butter. The theater projects a live close-up view of Mat performing tricks, ensuring you will want to take advantage of all the card tricks he has up his sleeve.

By blending illusions with crowd interactions and a compelling storyline, Mat adds another layer of intrigue to the show, making it a must-see performance in Las Vegas. Expect more than an hour of your time to fly by as Mat’s mastery of magic is technically sound, all while being fun to watch.

Why We Love It

Mat is on the more personable side. He talks about his family and his journey to be where he is right now, and it’s hard not to root for the guy. The theater he performs in is on the smaller side, which he takes advantage of by bringing his audience into his acts numerous times, which feels more intimate.

We love a good old-fashioned card trick, so if you are a fan of card tricks, Mat does not come up short with the number of ways he will mess with your brain.

PREMIER TIP:  The LINQ Hotel + Experience is an excellent place to keep families busy. From virtual reality adventures to ziplining down the LINQ Promenade to riding one of the world’s most enormous Ferris wheels, there is something for every age and appetite.

Prices and Times

Mat is a workhorse. You can catch him every day except Thursdays at 7:00 p.m., though he does have an occasional showing on Thursdays, so be sure to check the scheduling accordingly.

Tickets start at $49.00, a great price for families with kids who want to watch a show together.
