Top 2024 Residencies

Below are the most-anticipated artist residencies in 2024, either due to them playing Vegas for the first time in a while or due to the popularity of their Vegas residencies in recent years (not including the residencies at Sphere).

Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey

Where: Dolby Live – Park MGM

2024 Dates:  April 12-13, 17, 19-20, 24, 26-27

The legendary Mariah Carey returns to Vegas in 2024 with her The Celebration of Mimi Live in Las Vegas residency at Park MGM. The concerts mark the 19th anniversary of the release of the album The Emancipation of Mimi. The shows will likely feature popular songs from that album, such as “We Belong Together” and “Shake It Off,” as well as songs from throughout her illustrious career.

Her return to Vegas marks a break from performances since 2020, where Carey has primarily performed her awesome holiday music. This also marks her first performance at Park MGM, as her prior two Vegas residencies occurred at Caesars’ Palace.

Duran Duran

Where: Encore Theater at Wynn

2024 Dates: May 3-4

Wynn’s entertainment team scored another coup by attracting Duran Duran to the 1,400-seat Encore Theater in early May. This will be the smallest venue that Duran Duran performs at in its current tour, and one of only a handful of U.S. concerts the band will be doing this Spring/Summer.

Wynn originally hosted the Duran Duran to sold-out performances in September and October of 2022.

Tickets went on sale on April 5th

Duran Duran at Life is Beautiful
Christina Aguilera

Christina Aguilera

Where: Voltaire Theater @ Venetian

2024 Dates:  April 12-13, 19-20 | May 31 | June 1, 7-8 | August 2-3, 30-31

For those not aware, Venetian has repurposed one of their theaters into a very intimate dinner-style 1,000-seat theater. We can’t think of anyone better than Christina Aguiiera to be among the first major residencies here.

If you want to see the “Genie in a Bottle” in person, keep in mind that this is a very premier and intimate experience. All tickets to see Ms. Aguilera come with minimum spending requirements for food and beverage. In other words, plan to be required to order and drink a premier bottle of something!

The Venetian says, “Christina Aguilera’s Voltaire performances will be a completely new show like nothing she has ever done before. In contrast to traditional concert shows, the intimate venue will allow Christina to invite guests into a musically dynamic and immersive piece of art.”

In addition to Ms. Aguilera, Kylie Minogue has been playing Voltaire in late 2023 and has several more dates scheduled in 2024.

Premier Tip: Visitors to the Voltaire say the headline performance starts well after the ticketed time, so it may be worth calling the box office to find out what time Ms. Aguilera will be going on stage.

Maroon 5

Where: Dolby Live – Park MGM

2024 Dates: May 17-18, 22, 25-26, 29, 31  |  June 1  |  September 27-28  |  October 2, 4-5, 9, 11-12

The popular Grammy-award-winning band will return to Park MGM in 2024 with a residency. Although Maroon 5 is expected to play their popular hits, including “This Love,” “Sugar,” “Girls Like You,” and “Moves Like Jagger,” they have been known to throw in some curveballs with some of their newer music.

Frontman Adam Levine never disappoints, and we look forward to seeing the 2024 version of M5LV!

Adele

Where: The Colosseum at Caesars Palace

2024 Dates:  May 17-18, 24-25, 31  |  June 1, 7-8, 14-15 | October 25-26 | November 1-2, 8-9, 15-16, 22-23

The highly anticipated Weekends With Adele, which started in late 2022 continues at Caesars Palace with several dates in 2024. The beloved British singer/songwriter plays approximately twenty songs during her performance and mixes in a bit of her British humor.

Currently, tickets for her 2024 dates at the 4,000-seat Coliseum are primarily found on second-hand ticket seller websites.

Carrie Underwood

Where: Resorts World Theater

2024 Dates: May 22, 25-26, 29, 31  |  June 1  |  August 14, 16-17, 21, 23-24 | October 16, 18-19, 23, 25-26

Carrie Underwood Reflection: The Las Vegas Residency continues at Resorts World in 2024. The three-time ACM Entertainer of the Year and 8-time GRAMMY winner’s shows have received rave reviews since debuting at the North Strip property.

In December 2023, Miranda Lambert, who attended her friend’s show, described Underwood’s performance: “This show is so well thought out and it is a perfect reflection of her and what a career she has built,….” “The lights, fire, music, production, sparkle,’s and most importantly that voice.”

As visitors to Premier Vegas know, we love the intimacy of the Encore Theater at Wynn. There is not a bad seat in the house.

New Edition

Where: Encore Theater at Wynn

2024 Dates: July 3, 5-6, 10, 12-13 | October 30 | November 1-2

For early 80s nostalgia seekers, New Edition will have a mini-residency at Wynn Las Vegas in early 2024.

The group for these performances and the performances earlier in 2024 was composed of Ronnie DeVoe, Bobby Brown, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Ralph Tresvant, and Johnny Gill. Bobby Brown became even more mega-famous thanks to his high-profile relationship with the late Whitney Houston. Other members of New Edition later formed Bel Biv Devoe. Johnny Gill also went on to have a nice run as a solo performer.

Rod Stewart

Where: The Colosseum at Caesars Palace

2024 Dates: July 24, 26-27, 31 | August 2-3, 7

Rod Stewart is one of the most reliable headliners to come to Vegas. He’s been performing various residencies at Caesars Palace’s The Colosseum since 2013. Although he’s nearing 80, he’s not showing any signs of slowing down soon.

Baby boomers can rejoice. Rod Stewart is back at Caesars Palace to perform all his classics on the “Rod Stewart: The Hits Residency.”
